PerkTracker (“the App”) is developed and operated by CindysFamily LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use PerkTracker.

We only collect information necessary to provide core App features.

1.1 Information You Provide

Apple Sign In ID token (hashed, no real email unless you choose to share)
Google Account email (if signing in with Google)
User-generated data stored on your device, including:
- Credit cards you add
- Perks you add
- Reminder settings
- App preferences

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

Technical information required for correct operation (device type, iOS version, app version). This stays on your device only.

1.3 No Third-Party Analytics

PerkTracker does not use analytics, ad networks, or tracking tools such as:

Google Analytics
Firebase
Mixpanel
Advertising SDKs

No ads. No profiling. No tracking.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only for:

User Authentication (Apple or Google)
App Functionality (saving cards, perks, reminders)
Security and Fraud Prevention

We never sell your data.

3. Where Your Data Is Stored

3.1 On Your Device

All cards, perks, and app preferences are stored locally via SwiftData.

3.2 Cloud Storage (Authentication Only)

If you sign in with Apple or Google, authentication details are processed by those providers. We never access your passwords.

3.3 No Server Storage

We do not host a backend database and do not store your app data on any server.

4. Sharing of Information

We may share information only in these narrow cases:

With Apple or Google for authentication
To comply with legal obligations

5. Data Retention

Local data remains until you delete the app.
You may revoke Apple/Google access in your account settings.

6. Your Rights

You may:

Delete all app data by uninstalling the App
Revoke Apple or Google Sign In access
Contact us with privacy-related requests

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security practices, but no system is perfect. You are responsible for securing your device (passcode, Face ID, etc.).

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the App means you accept any updates.
